10 Things to Do in Hatyai Thailand

Posted by Eunice on ,
Hatyai is a small town in Thailand.

This trip together with my colleagues was plan long ago, and we opted to go there in a group because it is the most affordable place to visit considering going out from the country.

10 things I think you should do in Hatyai are:

1. Change currency

I do not believe that changing currency in other country, we will get a cheaper rate, until I am in Hatyai. The rate is 9.65, while changing in malaysia, 9.5! Cheaper by RM 15 lor... If change in a 1000 baht.

2. Enjoy Thai Food

Especially tonyam, mango sticky rice, and so many more. Also can bring back their tonyam and duck instant noodles.

3. Go for the Thai massage
Only pay 240 baht, you get a full 1 hour 45 minutes massage. The guys feedback? Super good. I did not waste my time for this cause I wanted to shop more. But regretted now.

4. Shop at Wong Swad

Don't even need to bargain, the price is so low already. I bought went nuts here. Damage 2000 + baht.

5. Go Hatyai Floating Market

I was a bit skeptical at first cause from the photo it looks not as interesting as Bangkok's. You are not on a sampan to buy from another sampan but walking on the land.

Was surprised by the crowd at the floating market. It's unique by itself and everything is sold at a very low price.

There's a lot of local delicacies to eat too! Look at my friend passing the $ to the sampan man. Visit during evening 3-6pm.

6. Lee Garden weekend craft shopping

So many cute things to see. They are all so cute cute cute!

7. Shop at 7-Eleven

My friends told me to. Got to say their 7-Eleven is so cool la. Got yummy instant noodles, MOS alike rice burger, cheese sausages, yada yadaaa.

Even mini slurpee!

8. Watch Thai Girl / TIGER show
This is going to extinct. Watch with a group of friends, to be safe cause it is illegal and it will solve your curious minds. The guys feedback it is disgusting and watch porno is better; girls are much more chio.

9. Drink at Paragon

The hottest clubbing place recommended by the tour guide. The guys were happy cause the singers has big boobs and only wears a bikini... But for the male singers, *puke*. And the beers and liquor are sold at low price, but they expect some tips.

10. Buy Wacoal bra(s)!

Go to shop for bra(s) here cause it is 50% cheaper than Malaysia's. Thailand is the manufacturer.

Look like Hatyai is a good place to spend. Till then girls and guys!
Have a good year ;)

10 Things to Do in Kuala Lumpur

More like 10 things I did in KL...

1. Meet up with old time buddies

Time to chat and have some beer to cheers.

2. Visit IKEA

Don't know why, but IKEA has the most simple yet stylish furniture at an affordable price.

3. Eat IKEA meatballs

For only RM 9 for 10 balls, it is super yumz. I queued for 30 minutes to buy lunch.

4. Celebrate Christmas

Exchange presents and gift with friends. Kiang got the present I bought.

5. Shop for New Year clothes

It's the sales season, more excuse to shop and dress up.

6. Supper at Murni

Not to miss this yummy mamak food. My favorite is the Lou Shu Fan! Yum yumm yummm!

7. Shop for accessories

Sales at Diva! The one in Penang, already cap lap, cause people like me only shop during the SALE period.

8. Park at Menara Keck Seng to shop at Pavilion

This is only applicable if you are driving to Pavilion and do not want to waste RM6 or more of parking fee. You can park your car at Menara Keck Seng (opposite of Pavilion) for only RM 3 flat rate after 6pm.

9. Shop together for Christmas presents

Something out of the blue...

10. And finally... get bullied by kids

Kids in KL are much naughtier. Must be all the expensive biscuits and food.

Till then. Here's Christmas song for you...

Gadgets & irrelevant stuff

HP F2480, cheapest scanner I can find in the PC fair, RM 175. Necessary...

Nikon D3000, also the cheapest SLR I can find. RM 1900. Quite necessary.
Still do not know how to operate it. Got very annoyed with this bulky thing which also don't allow camwhore self-portrait. Left it for sy to do the thinking.

Trying out with new camera and yummylicious cod fish.

Finally, my vain stuff.

B.liv is by Cellnique by the way ^^V

Before I log off, remember to also drop by Foodpromotions :)

Hard Rock Cafe

Posted by Eunice on ,
Made it to Hard Rock Cafe after the movie 2012. It's my first time there, after their opening for such a long time.

Beautiful lights before the lobby.

Some drink.

Red face. Didn't get to dress up cause of someone =/

Loondar.

Bearbrick. Reminds me of someone. If you are reading, I miss talking with you :)

My verdict? Quite small, compared to many other hotels at Batu Feringhi. One thing special about them, is their unique identity. The hotel has a modern design and it feels young, youthful, unlike other family hotels.
